Where are we and when do we meet?
We currently gather for worship at 09:30am Sunday mornings at The Blue Note Grill Click Here for Directions.
What about the kids?
Our approach is authentic, relational and missional, and our children play a vital role in our ministry. We want them to see our faith, not just hear about it. We want them to do what we do, not just say what we say. What we do as a body communicates more about what we believe than anything we can say. Our children are equally important members of the body of Christ, so they work alongside us as we love and serve our community.
Our service begins at 9:30 a.m. with intergenerational music and praise. All children are encouraged to participate in the worship time, even our babies! During a brief transition following worship time, children from birth to 5th grade will have the option of going to their classes. We believe in the responsibility of the entire church to mentor and minister to our younger generations. Qualified adult caregivers and trained volunteer assistants will be leading our Little Kids (birth to K) in fun, enriching activities related to the message being preached that day - our Little Kids will bring home a nugget from the message, not just play in the nursery! As parents, we seek relationships with all the children in our fellowship, so parent volunteers and trained adult mentors will be guiding our Big Kids Group (1st to 5th) in discussions, activities and prayer time related to the message.
What about the music?
We believe God gave us music so that we can express our adoration and affection for His greatness and beauty. Currently, at Restoration, we have a great worship band. Frank and Meredith Boone serve as our worship leaders. You can listen to some of his original music on iTunes by searching for Franklin Boone. We highly recommend "Perfect Love" and "Inhabit," but of course we are a little biased! If you are interested in being a part of our worship team, there is a place for you! Send us an email and someone will contact you will how you can serve with us.
What about the preaching?
We believe that every message should come from the Bible. We aren't interested in sharing our own good ideas. We need God's ideas. We have discovered that God's ideas are always relevant to real life -marriage, parenting, relationships, leadership, business, school- everything! Currently the teaching and preaching is shared by Will Holland (Teaching Elder), Lance Murphy (Teaching Elder), and Rick Adams (Directional Elder). To hear or watch our messages click here.
What about the atmosphere?
We want you to feel at home when you visit Restoration Church. We want you to be able to relax. We aren't worried about what kind of clothes people wear and we don't want people to feel the need to stiffen up when they walk in the door. Be yourself. Come as you are. We do.
